Overview
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s (EMJM) is a fully funded scholarship under the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme. Each programme is run jointly by universities in at least two or three different European countries, so you study in multiple countries for one degree.
Around 3,000 scholarships are awarded each year across 160+ programmes. Students of all nationalities may apply — you apply directly to a specific EMJM programme, each with its own deadline (usually October–January).
What the scholarship covers
- Full tuition fees for the whole programme
- A €1,400 monthly stipend for up to 24 months
- Health insurance and a travel allowance
- Installation/visa support and experience across two or three countries
Eligibility
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or be in your final year
- All nationalities are eligible, including Bangladesh
- Meet the programme’s English requirement (usually IELTS)
- Not have spent more than 12 months in Europe in the previous 5 years
