The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) is the most decisive public exam in Bangladesh — the result determines which university and which subject you go on to. The HSC 2026 and equivalent written exams ran from 2 July to 8 August 2026, with practicals completed within August.
Entirely online at xiclassadmission.gov.bd — a BDT 220 fee, up to 10 colleges in order of preference, and merit-based selection over three phases.
Almost all have two — a 1st and a 2nd Paper. Only ICT is a single paper. Both papers combine into one subject grade.
Enter your roll and registration numbers at educationboardresults.gov.bd for the result with marks, or text HSC <board code> <roll> <year> to 16222 for the GPA.
