Subject: Application for enriching the library with more books.
Sir
With due respect, we beg to state that we are the students of your school and we are proud of its rich tradition. Our school has a library, which is a great source of knowledge for us and a real help in our studies.
But it is a matter of regret that the library does not have enough books. Most of the books are old, and there are very few books on science, mathematics, English, general knowledge and story books. As a result, many of us cannot get the books we need at the same time and often return disappointed.
We firmly believe that if the library is enriched with a good number of new books on various subjects, it will meet our growing demand and help us build the habit of reading and gain wider knowledge.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would kindly take necessary steps to enrich our library with more books of various subjects and oblige thereby.
We remain,
Sir,
Your obedient students,
The students of Class IX
