A dialogue between Rahim and Karim

Rahim: Hello Karim! How are you today?

Karim: I am fine, thank you. And you? What are you reading so seriously?

Rahim: I am reading an English grammar book. I want to improve my English.

Karim: That is good. But why are you giving so much time to English?

Rahim: Because English is an international language. People all over the world use it to communicate.

Karim: You are right. But how will it help us in real life?

Rahim: If we know English well, we can get better jobs. Most good companies want employees who can speak and write English.

Karim: I see. Does it help in higher studies too?

Rahim: Yes, of course. Most reference books and research papers are written in English. We also need it to study abroad.

Karim: That is true. Nowadays we even need English to use the internet properly.

Rahim: Exactly. So we should learn English from an early age and practise it every day.

Karim: Thank you, Rahim. You have opened my eyes. I will start practising from today.
