How to write it

• Start with the date, then the To-block: "The Headmaster", the school name and address.
• State the subject in one line: "Application for setting up a computer club."
• Explain, on behalf of the students, that ICT skills are essential today and the school has no place to practise computing.
• Request a computer club or lab with a few computers, internet access and guidance from a teacher.
• End politely and sign as "the students" with the class name.

Unfortunately, our school has no computer club or lab where we can learn and practise these skills, and most of us have no computer at home.

If a computer club is set up with a few computers, an internet connection and the guidance of a teacher, we shall be able to develop our ICT skills, prepare projects, and keep pace with the modern world. It will greatly help us in our studies and future careers.
