IELTS Registration in Bangladesh
You register directly with an official partner — the British Council or IDP — online. The only identity document accepted is a valid passport, and you must use the same passport on test day.
How to register — step by step
01.Create an account
Register on the British Council or IDP Bangladesh IELTS website with your passport details.
02.Choose your test
Select Academic or General Training, paper or computer, and your city and date.
03.Pay the fee
Pay online (card / mobile banking) or at an authorised payment point to confirm your seat.
04.Get confirmation
You receive a confirmation email with your test details and Speaking schedule.
05.Test day
Bring the same valid passport. Arrive early; follow the centre’s rules on belongings.
You can get help registering in person at British Council/IDP offices and authorised partners, but the booking itself is completed through their online system.
Book 2–4 weeks ahead to get your preferred date and city, and even earlier during peak admission/visa seasons.
