The SSC 2026 result was published on 10 August 2026, and the Class XI admission season begins right behind it. This page gathers what is actually known about admission for the 2026-27 session — and is equally clear about what is not known yet.
That second part matters. A number of websites are currently publishing "Admission Circular 2026" with firm dates that are simply last session’s schedule with the year changed. Waiting on a wrong date is how people miss the real application window.

A warning: many websites have republished last year's (2025-26) schedule as "2026-27" with only the year changed. It cannot be right — the SSC 2026 result itself was published on 10 August 2026, so applications could not have opened before that.
What you should actually be doing now
Rather than waiting on the policy, get the things that can be done now out of the way. The application window is only a few days long, and mistakes happen in the rush.
- Keep your SSC marksheet, registration card and testimonial to hand, and write the roll and registration numbers down separately.
- If you have doubts about a grade, do not miss the re-scrutiny window — it is better settled before you apply.
- Decide your group. You can move from Science into Humanities or Business Studies, but not the other way — so this has to be settled before you apply.
- Draft your list of ten colleges now, and check the shift and version of each.
- Settle on one mobile number that will stay active for the whole process.
The steps of one application
The whole thing is online, in a single application. You identify yourself on xiclassadmission.gov.bd with your SSC details, order your chosen colleges, and pay the fee. No paperwork is submitted anywhere and no college visit is required.
- Start at xiclassadmission.gov.bd with your SSC roll number, board, passing year and registration number. If they match, your result and photograph load automatically.
- Give a working mobile number — every result and confirmation SMS goes to it, so use your own or a guardian’s number that will stay active throughout.
- Search for colleges and add them in order. Remember that shift, version and group each count as a separate choice — two shifts of one college means two of your slots.
- Check the order carefully. Selection runs top-down: you are placed at the highest college on your list where you qualify, and no lower one is considered after that.
- Pay the application fee through mobile banking, submit, and keep the confirmation SMS or PDF.
- After the result, confirm within the stated window. Miss this step and the selection is cancelled, and you have to apply again in the next phase.

How the phases work
Admission does not finish in one round. Seats left by students who were not selected, or who were selected and did not confirm, are released — and the next phase runs on those. There are normally three phases.
Migration is a separate thing. Even after you confirm, if a seat opens at a college higher on your list, the system moves you up to it. Migration only ever goes upward, never down, and it cannot cost you the seat you already hold.
- Selected and confirmed → the seat is yours, and migration can still move you up.
- Selected but did not confirm → the selection is cancelled and you re-apply in the next phase.
- Not selected → apply in the next phase, this time weighting your list toward realistic colleges.

How the phases ran last year
Until the new notice lands, last session's (2025-26) schedule is the best guide available. The number of phases and the confirmation and migration rules stay much the same year to year; what changes is mainly the dates and the application fee.
