There is no single answer, and lists that name one usually have not looked outside Dhaka. Stream, GPA, distance and cost together make the answer different for each student.

Why do these lists not carry seat counts and GPAs?

Because the college-wise seats and GPAs for the 2026-27 session have not been published — the admission policy itself has not been issued. Sites showing "2026-27" figures today are showing an earlier year's. They will be added here as soon as they are published.

How many colleges can I choose?

Last session the range was a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10, with a college’s separate shifts or versions counting as separate choices. Check the number against this year’s policy when it is published.

Where are the lists for cities outside Dhaka?

The trouble with looking up "the best colleges" is that nearly every list is Dhaka-only, and nearly all of them have been copying the same ageing figures for years. The lists here are organised by city, and each entry carries the kind of fact that does not turn false when the year changes.

One distinction matters more than any other: whether the college admits through the central online application or runs its own entrance test. The preparation and the strategy differ completely, and most lists never mention it.
