International undergraduate tuition is typically NZ$22,000–NZ$45,000 per year and master’s NZ$26,000–NZ$45,000, plus roughly NZ$20,000–NZ$27,000 a year for living costs. The exact amount varies by course and university.

Generally IELTS 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5) for undergraduate and 6.5 overall for master’s. Many universities also accept PTE, TOEFL or proof of English-medium education.
The two main intakes are February (Semester 1) and July (Semester 2), with some November summer intakes. We recommend starting your application at least 4–6 months ahead.
