Cue card. Describe a book you enjoyed reading. You should say:
A book I thoroughly enjoyed is “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. It’s a short novel about a young shepherd who travels from Spain to Egypt in search of treasure, but really it’s about following your dreams. I read it a couple of years ago during a stressful exam period, and it arrived at exactly the right moment. I enjoyed it partly because the story is simple and beautifully told, but mostly because of its message — the idea that when you truly want something, you should pursue it despite setbacks. It genuinely shifted my outlook, and it’s one of the few books I’ve happily read more than once.
