The person I most admire is my secondary-school teacher, Mr Karim. I’ve known him since I was thirteen, when he taught our mathematics class in a small town near Sylhet. He’s a remarkably patient and generous man — the kind of teacher who would stay behind after class to help struggling students without ever making them feel foolish. What I admire most, though, is his quiet dedication: despite a modest salary, he funded books for children who couldn’t afford them and never sought any recognition for it. He taught me that real influence comes from consistent kindness rather than status, and that’s a lesson I’ve carried with me ever since.
