An app I genuinely couldn’t do without is Google Maps. I discovered it years ago when I first started commuting around Dhaka, and now I use it almost every single day. On the surface it just gives directions, but it does so much more — it shows live traffic, suggests the fastest routes, and even tells me when the next bus is due. What makes it so useful is how much stress it removes from travelling in an unfamiliar or congested city; I no longer worry about getting lost or being badly late. For someone who travels a lot for work, it’s become an essential everyday tool.
