Overview
Chevening is the UK government's international scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations. It lets future leaders complete a one-year master's degree at any UK university — completely free.
A limited number of Chevening Scholars are selected from Bangladesh each year. Competition is intense, so four strong essays (leadership, networking, study plan and career plan) and the right choice of universities are decisive.

Eligibility
- Be a Bangladeshi citizen and agree to return home for at least two years
- Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies for a UK master's
- Have at least 2 years (2,800 hours) of work experience
