Dialogue About the Uses and Abuses of Mobile Phone

Model dialogue on the uses and abuses of the mobile phone — for SSC & HSC.

A dialogue between two friends about the good and bad sides of using a mobile phone.

A dialogue between Jamal and Kamal

Jamal: Hello Kamal, you look busy with your new phone. What are you doing?

Kamal: Hello Jamal. I was just reading my textbook notes. My teacher shared them in a group.

Jamal: That is a good use. A mobile phone can really help us in our studies.

Kamal: Yes, exactly. I can search for information, watch lessons and even attend online classes.

Jamal: It also keeps us connected. I talk to my parents every day when I am at the hostel.

Kamal: True. And we can send messages, share photos and get news within seconds.

Jamal: But do you not think many students misuse it? Some spend hours playing games.

Kamal: You are right. Some waste time on social media and forget their lessons completely.

Jamal: Long use also harms the eyes and health. My cousin gets headaches from it.

Kamal: That is worrying. Some people even spread rumours and false news through it.

Jamal: So we must use it wisely. A phone should be a helper, not a habit.

Kamal: Well said. I will fix a time limit and use it only for useful things.

Jamal: That is a wise decision. Thank you for the good talk, Kamal.

Kamal: Thank you too, Jamal. See you tomorrow at school.
