They are separate programmes on separate administrative cycles — GKS-U generally in autumn, GKS-G in late winter. There is no single “GKS deadline”; you need the date for your own level.

GKS 2026
GKS opens its undergraduate and graduate windows at different points in the year, and both have closed for the 2026 cycle. Graduate applications ran from 12 to 25 February 2026, while the undergraduate window sat in the preceding autumn.

What this cycle pays
- ₩900,000 a month at undergraduate level
- Graduate — ₩1,000,000 a month during the language year and ₩1,380,000 during the degree
- Tuition of up to ₩5,000,000 per semester
Questions about this cycle
From 1 March of the entry year for undergraduates and 1 September for graduates. For the 2027 undergraduate intake that means being born after 1 March 2002.
