SINGA 2027 intake
SINGA runs two intakes a year, January and August, each with its own deadline. Applications for the August intake normally close at 23:59 Singapore time on 1 December of the preceding year — so starting in August 2027 means a December 2026 deadline.

What this cycle pays
- S$2,700 a month at the start
- S$3,200 a month once the Qualifying Examination is passed
- Full tuition, a one-off airfare and a settling-in allowance
Questions about this cycle
The Qualifying Examination is part of the PhD structure and a second attempt is usually allowed, though rules differ by institution. The higher stipend tier is tied to it, so confirm the timing with your supervisor early.
