Applications for the 2026/27 academic year closed at 14:00 CET on 15 January 2026. Sending Partner nominations followed, then university entrance examinations through the spring and final results in early summer — a process running close to six months end to end.

In the autumn. The window closes in mid-January and the Sending Partner’s own process starts before that, so having documents and the motivation letter ready by November or December removes the January scramble.
