MBBS admission to government and private medical colleges in Bangladesh is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) through a single 100-mark MCQ exam held nationwide. The circular is usually published in November at dgme.teletalk.com.bd.

Medical Admission Eligibility 2026-27
- GPA: Combined SSC + HSC GPA of at least 9.00 (with 4th subject), with a minimum of 4.00 in each.
- Biology: At least GPA 3.50 in HSC Biology.
- Group: Science group with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English required.
- Year: Usually must have passed within the prescribed recent years.
Medical Admission Application Process 2026-27
- Fill in the application form at dgme.teletalk.com.bd.
- Upload photo and signature and complete the application.
- Pay the fee by SMS from a Teletalk prepaid SIM.
- Download the admit card and sit the exam at your centre.

A 100-mark MCQ exam with a pass mark of 40. Negative marking (0.25) applies for wrong answers, and SSC/HSC GPA adds separate marks.
