Agriculture Cluster Admission 2026-27: The Test on 2 January 2027

The combined agriculture admission test for 2026-27 is on 2 January 2027, and this time Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in Dhaka hosts it. The meeting on 9 September fixed only the date and the host; eligibility, seats, fee and the application window come later.

Last year’s arithmetic makes planning easier: in 2025-26 nine agricultural universities shared 3,701 seats, the fee was BDT 1,200, and one MCQ test ranked candidates for every seat. One test means one chance — 2 January is the whole contest.

The nine universities of last cycle

Whether the list holds for 2026-27 has not been said. Places in these universities’ agriculture-related programmes fill from one ranking, matched against each candidate’s preferences — the circular lists which programmes are covered.

How the paper was split (2025-26)

A 100-mark MCQ with 0.25 off per wrong answer. The merit rank was out of 150 — the test’s 100, plus 25 each from the SSC and HSC results.

Notice that maths, physics and chemistry carry 60 marks while the two halves of biology carry 30. Agriculture is often thought of as a biology subject, but the paper leans on maths and physics — a student coming from medical preparation needs to set aside time for maths.

Straight after medical — the timing

The medical test is tentatively on 4 December and the agriculture cluster on 2 January — about four weeks apart. To sit both, cut back biology revision after the first week of December and give the time to maths and physics problems. The second week of January then brings KUET (8 January) and Rajshahi University’s science unit (9 January) — two more tests right after agriculture.
