Applying for Class XI Admission — Start to Finish

There is only one Class XI admission application. You fill it in once and every college you want sits inside it. There is no separate form to collect from a campus, no paperwork to submit, and no college to visit in person.
The whole thing takes about half an hour. What it does not give you is much room to undo a mistake, so knowing what you need before you sit down is the real preparation.
What to have beside you before you start
Getting up mid-application to hunt for a number can time your session out, especially at busy hours. Collect these five things first.
| What you need | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| SSC roll number | Admit card or marksheet |
| Registration number | Registration card |
| Board and passing year | Marksheet |
| A working mobile number | Yours or a guardian’s — one that will not be switched off |
| A mobile banking account | bKash, Nagad or Rocket, with enough balance |
The mobile number matters most. The result, the confirmation and every later message go to it, and there is no easy way to change it halfway through.
The application, step by step
- Open xiclassadmission.gov.bd and enter your roll, registration number, board and passing year. If they match, your name, result and photograph appear on their own — there is nothing to upload.
- Check what appears against your own documents. If a spelling or a GPA is wrong, stop and contact your board rather than pressing on.
- Enter and verify the mobile number, and settle here that it will stay active for the whole season.
- Search for colleges and add them in order. Each entry asks for the college, the shift, the version and the group separately.
- Review the order carefully — it is the most consequential part of the form, and it cannot be changed once the fee is paid.
- Pay the fee through mobile banking, then submit. Money leaving your account does not by itself mean the application is complete.
- Save the confirmation message or PDF — it is your evidence if anything is queried later.
The mistakes that trip students up every year
- Applying on the last day: servers crawl, and if something jams there is no time left.
- Paying but not submitting, which leaves the application sitting incomplete.
- Giving a number that is off or belongs to someone else, so the result message never reaches you.
- Adding a college without noticing the shift or version, then finding you were selected into the wrong one.
- Leaving no college on the list where your GPA comfortably qualifies.
The 2026-27 admission policy was published on 24 August 2026, but the board can still revise dates or figures in a later notice. Check the latest notice on xiclassadmission.gov.bd before you apply. The information on this page was last verified on 28 August 2026.
Frequently asked questions
Generally not, once the fee is paid and the form submitted. So settle the list before you finalise it — it is the one part of the process entirely within your control.
Once per phase. Phases are separate, though: if you are not selected — or you were and did not confirm — you can apply again in the next one, and rebuild your list then.
Not at application time. Documents come at the very end, when you go to the college to complete admission after selection — marksheet, registration card, testimonial and photographs.
A confirmation message follows a successful application, and the portal shows its status. A payment SMS on its own is not proof — log in and check the status yourself.
